How do I book?
Please visit my contact page and fill out an inquiry form! I will get back to you within 48 hours. Be sure to list all the details of your session ideas. Date, location, theme, number of people attending, etc.
How will I receive my images?
Your images will be delievered to you via email in a Private Online Gallery! It can be password protected as well as shared with all family and friends. Your images will come in a digital format and you will need to download them to your computer and back them up on a external device.
Is my retainer refundable?
All retainers are non-refundable with no exceptions. Retainers allow me to block off a certain date and time for you as the client. This ensures that I will not schedule any other shoots during your chosen time. It also covers travel fees to and from sessions.
Can you photoshop my _______?
The short answer, no. I’m not an expert in Photoshop and frankly, I don’t believe in editing people to make them look different. Of course I’ll edit any zits or bruises out (anything temporary) but I would never alter your appearance. Because everyone is beautiful in their own way.
Can I have the raw images?
No. They do not represent my style and I don't feel comfortable giving out my unfinished work for others to edit.
Do you travel?
Have you read my about me? Travel is my favorite thing! I'll go anywhere your dreamy memories allow me to go! Out of state sessions are responsible for ALL airfare, hotels & rental cars. Email me for more details.
What is your turn around time for galleries?
Lifestyle sessions are 2-3 weeks and weddings can take up to 4-6 weeks, but I try really hard to get them out asap. I’m such an impatient person, I know how awful it is waiting to see photos of your special day and I don’t want to make you wait! I also post a sneak peek within 3 days, if you’re down with that of course, you can always opt out of me sharing them online.
What if Kristen can't make it to your shoot?
I would straight up have to be on my deathbed to not show up to your wedding/session but if that DID happen I’m in a group with a ton of amazing photographers who show up for each other during emergencies. They would shoot your session and I would do all of the final processing and gallery delivery.
What is the process if we decide to book with you?
I keep it simple, all I need to book your date is a signed contract and a paid retainer. Retainers are 50% of your total balance. You can pay and sign the contract online and BOOM - you're on my calendar!
